The tank is made of high-strength, injection-molded permaGlass to provide dependable, and corrosion-free performance. The unique design allows you to take apart and remove the filter cartridge, no tools required. You can trust Star-Clear Plus filters to perform in the most demanding applications and environmental conditions. The Hayward W3C9002 Star-Clear Plus cartridge filter includes a new filter element inside that provides 90 sq ft of filtration capability. The Filter should be cleaned every 3 - 4 months depending on bather and debris levels and the cartridge should be replaced every 2 - 3 years.
